A Dream Reimagined

Built in June of 1931 by Fred Bartholomew, the Vista Mar Monte was a dream hotel established in an idyllic setting. Paying homage to the original dream of the founder, “there will be nothing finer on the coast,” we helped in revitalizing the hotel to breathe a new life.

Coastal Rhythm

The rhythm of the coast exemplifies the luxury of being able to slow down. Our staff is well acquainted with the best local spots & serve as “non-tourist guides” for our guest that want to walk in the local's “sandals”.

Boundless Curiosity

Life is richer with the moments that we don't expect. Throughout the guests' stay, they are continually surprised and delighted at every turn allowing them to feel fully immersed in their experience and become more curious.

A Place of Belonging

The warmth of the Southern California hospitality leaves guests feeling pampered without the spa treatment. With expansive views of the ocean and mountains, the hotel offers and oasis of peace to recharge.

Effortless Flow

Our space is designed for the senses to nurture ease throughout the guests' experience from indoors to outdoors, seclusion to amenities, ocean to mountain. Like the rise of the tide, guests effortlessly flow through their itinerary from restoration to exploration.
